Woodland School Drama Club

Expectations

In order to have fun-filled learning experiences in Drama Club, the following expectations are required:

 

• Attendance

  • It is imperative that students attend regularly.  Students who have 3 unexcused/excused absences will be subject to removal from the Drama Club.  We will work with families on a case by case basis, but regular and consistent attendance is expected of all Drama Club members.

• Promptness

  • Being on time every day is important to the success of the program.  Students who are late or tardy to practice 3 times will be subject to dismissal from the Drama Club.

• Behavior

  • Good behavior during the school day is required to participate in this program.  Students with 3 or more behavior detentions will not be able to participate in Drama Club.

  • Good behavior at Drama Club is also required.  Students who have received 3 phone calls home due to unacceptable behavior will not be able to participate in Drama Club.

• Academics

  • Maintaining good grades throughout the year is our number one goal.  Students must maintain a C average or better to participate in the program.

  • If grades are lower than a C average, it is not in the child’s best interest to spend time in this extracurricular activity.

 

*Participation fees WILL NOT be refunded for anyone who has been dismissed from the program for attendance, behavior, or academic reasons.

 

Daily Rules

 

1. Be responsible—Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

2. Be respectful—Be polite in words and actions.

3. Follow directions.

4. No gum, candy, or toys.

5. Try your best and have fun!
